Family Companion se compromete a proteger tu privacidad. Esta Política de privacidad explica cómo recopilamos, usamos, divulgamos y protegemos tu información cuando utilizas nuestra aplicación y servicios.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly: account information (name, email, password), family content (requests, notes, links), profile information (display name, avatar, persona), and usage data to improve our services. We do not collect information beyond what is necessary.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide, maintain, and improve our services; process and route family requests; power assistant features; send notifications about family activity; and ensure security. We never sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Assistant & Data
Our assistant processes family data to provide suggestions and insights. Suggestions are non-binding and require human confirmation. Items marked as "Just me" are never shared with the assistant. You can control assistant access in Privacy Settings. The assistant does not make financial or legal decisions on your behalf.
4. Family Data Sharing
Data visibility within your family is controlled by three levels: Family (all members), Adults Only (non-child personas), and Just Me (only you). You choose default visibility in Privacy Settings.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
You can delete your account at any time from the Profile screen. Personal data is removed within 30 days. Family content may be retained for other members. You can export your data before deletion.
6. Your Rights (GDPR)
You have the right to access, correct, delete, export, restrict processing, and object to certain uses of your personal data. Contact privacy@companion.family to exercise these rights.
7. Children’s Privacy
Child Mode protects younger users: financial details are hidden, content is filtered, children interact through a guided interface, and parents maintain full control over child accounts.
8. Security
We implement two-factor authentication, encrypted data transmission, regular security audits, and role-based access control. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we strive to protect your data.
